Stochastic Loewner evolution with stable Levy processes

Ilia Rushkin
University of Chicago

Some stochastic growth processes in two dimensions (e.g. dielectric breakdown model) have the "composition property": the growth can occur in a domain of any shape, and at any time the growing structure already produced can be considered as the boundary of a new domain, in which the subsequent growth is happening. Based on stochastic Loewner evolution, we introduce and study the properties of a family of branching growth models with this property.
