Organic light emitting devices (OLEDs) are an exciting alternative to traditional inorganic LEDs. Increasing the operational lifetimes of these devices is one of the challenges to using them in large scale commercial applications. In this talk, we will discuss why these devices fail after a relatively short time and efforts to extend their operational lifetimes.
