Thursday, October 07, 20102:00 PM - 3:00 PMCNLS Conference Room (TA-3, Bldg 1690) Postdoc Seminar Finding Small Regulatory RNAs in Alzheimer’s Disease Ming Zhang Abundant evidence has demonstrated versatile functions of RNAs, especially non-protein coding RNAs, in eukaryotes. Some RNAs, despite their small sizes (< 200nt), can surprisingly regulate gene expressions on multiple levels. I will present some RNA discovery work in the course of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) research. I will be more focused on computational predictions of small RNAs targeting AD’s signature molecule BACE1.
