FetterDepartment of Physics, Stanford University In the first seminar, I will cover various topics concerning Quantum Mechanics of Bose-Einstein Condensates. Specifically, a review of superfluid He-4 and general features of trapped BECs with short-range interactions, including some considerations on optical lattices.
