First part will cover GHG emissions from power plants in Canada and compare the data stored in the Global Energy Observatory (GEO) with that from CARMA and EDGAR databases. We will then summarize the changes in Canadian emissions since 2004 when mandatory reporting was instituted. The second part will describe how the historic Ummah (region from Morocco to Indonesia) is transforming with respect to power generation and its implications for resource usage, GHG emissions and development.
