Seminar

Correlated electrical and electro-optical transport in atoms and molecules.

Dibyendu Roy
University of Cincinnati, Department of Physics

First I will introduce some relevant physical (nano- scale) systems where electron-electron and electron-photon interactions play a crucial role in understanding transport. Next I will discuss some exact non-equilibrium techniques and time-dependent current-density functional theories to study correlated transport in these systems. Finally I will present our recent results on correlated electron and few-photon transport in various systems.
