The complex relational data of networked computer systems naturally leads to modeling and analysis using graphs, or networks. Network science is also beginning to play a role in modeling cybersecurity systems where the nodes and edges aren't just computers and links. I will give examples of cybersecurity problems and the approaches being employed including the application of random graph models to centralized user authentication systems. Host: Robert Ecke |
