Charge and energy flow are among the key processes driving functional properties of materials for optoelectronics, energy generation, conversion, and storage. Over molecular length scales charge and energy transfer involve the cooperative dynamics of structural and electronic degrees of freedom, presenting a notorious challenge for theoretical description. In this talk I will discuss methodological developments and practical applications including organic field effect transistors, rechargeable batteries, photovoltaics. Host: Sergei Tretiak |
