Dr. Grace Metcalfe is a Program Manager at the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) for the Quantum Information Science as well as the Atomic and Molecular Physics portfolios. She was recently detailed from the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) where she managed the Center for Distributed Quantum Information and spearheaded the Tri-Service Quantum Science and Engineering Program. In this presentation, Dr. Metcalfe will provide an overview of the Quantum Information Science initiatives at ARL and AFOSR, as well as research highlights focusing on distributed quantum systems and implications for future DoD capabilities.
