CANCELLED-The observation of high-order harmonic generation from bulk ZnO crystals in 2011 opened a new playground for strong-field physics. Since this first observation, experiments and calculations have suggested a number of different mechanisms behind the generation of harmonics, which can impact both the spectrum and polarization states of the harmonic emission. In this talk, I will present recent experimental results of polarization-resolved high-order harmonic generation from different solid-state media, which highlight the important roles played by crystalline order and structural symmetries.
